Drs. Jeff and Konnie are a husband and wife team. They opened their clinic in April of 1995. Since opening their practice, they have had the opportunity to care for several families from Jackson and the surrounding areas.
Dr. Jeff Joyner loves taking care of infants and toddlers, as well as his older patients. He has been able to help many infants with colic, constipation, recurrent ear infections, and sleepless nights amoung other complaints. He enjoys helping kids who have been wetting the bed for years, finally resolving those issues once and for all. Dr Jeff said, "It is awesome to have a child who can't attend sleepovers because of the bed wetting to finally get to do that."
Being an avid runner since the age of 9, Dr. Jeff has many of his adult patients presenting with various running injuries, from knee and foot pain, to hip and low back pain.
Dr. Jeff also does a lot of work with TMJ patients. TMJ or temporal mandibular joint dysfunction, can cause a multitude of symptoms. Jaw pain, clicking or locking of the jaw to name a few. TMJ can also cause neck, shoulder and arm pain, and headaches. TMJ is also a big factor in concussion and motor vehicle accidents.
Dr. Konnie Joyner loves taking care of TMJ and headache patients, and enjoys seeing her patients get back to doing what they love to do.
Having suffered with TMJ issues from the age of 16, she is able to relate to her patients and what they are experiencing. After going through the braces route as a teenager, she found TMJ relief with Chiropractic. She dedicated her doctoral thesis on the subject and has done extensive research of TMJ and TMJD.
Dr. Konnie also loves working with shoulder problems and knee issues. She has a knack for finding the cause of the pain or lack of movement and correcting the problem. She enjoys being able to give patients their life back. "It's fun to see patients lives turn completely around after Chiropractic care, they are out of pain and able to regain full range of motion", says Dr. Konnie.
Drs. Jeff and Konnie use a "whole person approach" when taking care of their patients. By combining the very best hands-on-technique and using state of the art diagnostics, the doctors will be able to help you to accelerate and/or maintain your journey to good health.
Drs. Jeff and Konnie have two sons. The oldest is studying at Mississippi State and the youngest is at Jackson Christian School. When not serving patients in the clinic, the Joyners enjoy boating, riding four wheelers and spending time relaxing at the beach.
